Gloria Cardoso
Ms. Cardoso is an M.HSc. graduate from the University of Toronto, Health Policy, Management and Evaluation Program. She obtained a B.Sc. in Nursing from McMaster University
Ms. Cardoso has over 12 years public-not for profit health admin experience in acute and community health care. In the acute care sector, stationed in Waterloo Region hospitals, Ms. Cardoso worked as a patient safety and quality manager, a manager of patient relations, the health information management director, the wait times lead and the project manager corporate project. In community health care, Ms. Cardoso was the Network Director for Waterloo Wellington Community Support Services Network, which focused on integrating the CSS in the broader continuum of Care and translating evidence into practice to bend the curve from institutionalization to community. She was also a Steering committee member of the Canadian Research Network for Care in the Community (CRNCC).
On March 5th, 2007, she joined Deloitte and Touche as manager, doing health services consulting. She was a panel member of the March 7th, 2007 symposium.
Gloria Cardoso is a member of the CIHR Team in Community Care and Health Human Resources.
