Conference Board of Canada
The Conference Board of Canada is the premier independent applied research institute in the country.
The Conference Board's expertise falls into two broad areas. First, we provide knowledge about the external environment in which organizations operate. This includes the broad social and economic environment within Canada, as well as critical global trends and issues.
Second, we provide knowledge about organizational change, including change in management systems such as strategy, organizational structure, technology, human resources, information management and other important areas.
The Conference Board develops and exchanges knowledge about emerging economic and social trends, key public policy issues and organization strategies and practices. Every year the Conference Board hosts more than 250 meetings and conferences, holds over 80 leadership programs, publishes 150 research documents and investigates more than 4500 requests for information from members.
Over the next three years, the Leaders' Roundtable on Health, Health Care and Wellness will take a multi-stakeholder approach to initiate and examine available research and explore issues and options related to the financing of Canadas health system.
