Mohamad Alameddine, PhD
Mohamad holds a Ph.D. in Health Policy from the University of Toronto, Department of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation. He holds a Masters of Public Health from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.
His thesis research examined nursing workforce issues, arising from the shift from hospitals to home and community, and represented a partnership between M-THAC and the Nursing Effectiveness Unit. His research interests include recruitment and retention strategies of health human resources and quality of work environments.
Between 1999 and 2001, Mohamad worked as an Instructor and academic coordinator at the University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. He currently works as the Director of International Development and Partnerships at the Postgraduate Medical Education Office at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto.
