Jim Armstrong, Ph.D.

Jim Armstrong is a consultant in health and social services. Most of his career has been in Ontario health care management, research and consulting. He has just retired after four years as CEO of the Ontario Association of Community Care Access Centres, during which time the association expanded services substantially to support major reorganization of CCACs from 42 to 14 in alignment with LHIN boundaries.

Previously, Jim was founding Executive Director of the GTA/905 Healthcare Alliance, a collaboration of the hospitals across Durham, Halton, Peel and York regions.

Jim has a PhD in Social Administration from the University of Edinburgh and is an Adjunct Faculty member of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation.
