dr. brenda gamble Brenda Gamble

Brenda Gamble is a co-investigator on the CIHR Team Community Care and Health Human Resources responsible for the projects involving allied health care professionals, occupational therapists and physiotherapists in Ontario. Brenda received her PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Toronto in November 2006. Her thesis results have been widely disseminated, and some key findings were included in the 2005 CIHI publication, "Exploring the 70/30 Split." Brenda has done a number of presentations both internationally and nationally.

Dr. Gamble is currently an Assistant Professor and Supervisor in the Health Studies Program at the Department of Social Sciences at University of Toronto - Scarborough. She is also an instructor in the Health Studies Program at University College, U of T - St. George Campus and at Ryerson University's International Midwifery Preparation Program. Prior to completing her university training Brenda worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist within both the public and private sector.
