Winston Isaac
Dr. Winston Isaac the current Director of the School of Health Services Management in the Faculty of Community Services at Ryerson University. Dr. Isaac was the developer of the Health Information Management degree program in the School of Health Services Management. He has been a Senior Healthcare Administrator for a number of years in the Ontario Healthcare System, an educator in the field of Respiratory Therapy and a Consultant in the Ministry of Health of Ontario.
Dr. Isaac started his healthcare experience at a Registered Respiratory Therapist having completed the diploma program at the Toronto Institute of Medical Technology, now The Michener Institute in Toronto. He holds two undergraduate degrees in science and psychology from York University; a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor; a Masters degree in Education from Central Michigan University and a Masters in Public Administration (Health Policy and Administration) from Queen’s University. Dr. Isaac earned the Ph.D. degree from Michigan State University in Adult and Continuing Education with a focus on the education of healthcare managers. Dr. Isaac is certified by the Canadian College of Health Services of Executive as a Certified Healthcare Executive.
In 2006, Dr. Isaac was named Alumnus of Distinction by The Michener Institute.
